Trading traditional laces for charming braided cords, L'Orfèvre is all about detailing!
Coming from the most renowned Italian and Portuguese tanneries, the nubuck we use to make our shoes offers an unparalleled velvet feel and enhances vibrant colors like no other leather. It is a high quality leather whose outer skin surface has been very finely sanded. This is why we call it the "grain" of the skin, and it makes nubuck a particularly strong leather. Suitable for both shoes and leather goods, it adds a touch of softness and elegance to your favorite items.
Our full picot soles
Soft, elegant, comfortable: the rubber sole of our studded moccasins has been an iconic feature in our collections for almost 10 years. This iconic shoe marks the start of the Bobbies adventure. A lightweight, sportswear sole, originally inspired by North American Indigenous cultures, which exclusively dresses up our timeless driving loafers. In its full version, it guarantees enhanced grip and solidity to all moccasins lovers throughout the year.
Our braided leather laces
The Orphèvre has laces in braided leather, which is selected for its finesse and strength, and has stainless reinforcement tips. Contrasting with the stem of the moccasin, they change colors each season to suit all your outfits. Iconic model for Bobbies for several years, it is the ultimate timeless driving loafer.
Our production workshops in Portugal
We work hand-in-hand with family-owned workshops every day to develop the most perfect and comfortable models with the finest finishes. Each workshop is selected for its own specific traditional know-how: the variety of the steps needed to create a studded moccasin, the technicality of a Strobel-made sneaker, the expertise of the perfect arch of our heels or even the mastery of the upside down assembly that offers unrivalled suppleness to our ballet flats and slippers.
