The most elegant model in the range, Jean-Dillinger is the ultimate one-cut Oxford. Made from a single piece of leather, it has no visible seam.
The calf leather used to create this pair comes from one of Italy's most famous tanneries, which has been supplying the main luxury firms for decades. Received in its raw state, its deep hues are obtained thanks to the meticulous work of our master bootmaker, who is an expert in the know-how of patina. For nearly thirty minutes, through a clever mixture of our different shades, manual work generates these subtle variations of tones that will make each pair unique.
We use a Goodyear assembly for the soles of our dress shoes. This construction, also called the "welted assembly", is based on the so-called welt which is sewn to both the upper part of the shoe (the stem) and its sole, making the shoe waterproof and giving it to ability to receive new soles. It's the epitome of high-end assemblies.
The wholecut cut is the most demanding one. Made from a single piece of leather, it has no apparent seams. It requires the use of leather stripped from any roughness, which has a perfectly smooth appearance. It will fit the shape of your feet like a glove and provide absolute comfort and elegance.
With our durable waxed cotton laces, your suit shoes will never have looked better! Selected from a supplier specialising in laces for luxury shoes, they are delicately waxed for that fine, elegant look. Each pair of shoes comes with two pairs of laces: a pair of flat laces, and a pair of round laces to better suit your taste and match your outfits.
Our dress shoes are produced in Benedita, north of Lisbon, in a small traditional Workshop specializing in the Goodyear assembly, which is now more than 50 years old. Twenty-five highly skilled, passionate craftsmen work there to produce forty pairs a day.
