Pull-up or Vintage leather

Calf leather doesn’t require any special care. Pull-up or vintage leather is an oily leather characterized by a patinated effect and a rapid appearance of wear-and-tear marks. These marks and the worn effect are normal after they’ve been worn.

They don’t require any particular care! A periodic quick brushing can help remove dust or dirt spots. Once or twice a year at the most, you can also apply grease with a chamois cloth. Since the leather is oily, it’s not a good idea to do this too often! Grease makes the leather supple and using too much risks modifying the leather’s innate quality.
