For an Eskimo look and warm palms, the pelican goes for L’Inuit!
Our full grain leathers
We only use full-grain leathers to make our shoes: this is the upper part of the skin, dense and smooth, which did not go through any post-tanning alteration. Guaranteeing unrivalled strength, softness and feel to the touch, this process is the noblest that can be applied to leather while maintaining a certain level of roughness for a unique effect. Its aniline finish delivers a unique patina over time, one that reveals intense hues.
Our non-slip soles
Our boots designed for the extreme cold are fitted with a light, resistant EVA sole, which makes them the perfect ally for a snug and cosy winter. They boast a notched design for better grip, especially on wet soils. They will also pamper your feet with their extra-soft cushioning. However, to avoid damaging them, take care to prevent the top of the boots coming into contact with snow.
Our sheep wool linings
If you like being warm, this model offers a sheepskin liner. Super cozy, it will keep your feet warm all winter while bringing a comfy touch and a workwear touch to your look.
Our production workshops in Portugal
We work hand-in-hand with family-owned workshops every day to develop the most perfect and comfortable models with the finest finishes. Each workshop is selected for its own specific traditional know-how: the variety of the steps needed to create a studded moccasin, the technicality of a Strobel-made sneaker, the expertise of the perfect arch of our heels or even the mastery of the upside down assembly that offers unrivalled suppleness to our ballet flats and slippers.
